Shows in 2006 were from 1:00 to approximately 3:00 pm and were held at "Concrete Park," across from State Street Brats, next to PotBelly's, in the 500 block of State Street in downtown Madison.
These events are FREE to the public, though
free-will offerings are collected to help offset
costs. This series is a joint effort between the Madison
Folk Music Society and the Greater State Street
Business Association. Thanks go out to grants from
the Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission with
additional funds from the Overture Foundation, the
Madison Community Foundation, the Pleasant Rowland
Foundation, CitiArts, the Greater State Street Business
Association, plus individual donations from the
property owners and businesses on State Street. And, thanks to these great stations for
helping to promote the shows: WORT 89.9 and Wisconsin Public Radio's Simply Folk .
