  • Fondy Acoustic Music Alliance - Fond du Lac, WI
  • Green Apple Folk Music Society - Appleton/Green Bay, WI
  • The Pump House - La Crosse, WI - Acoustic concert series features mostly folk, with a little bluegrass or jazz
  • Black Hawk Folk Society - Mt. Morris, about 70 miles north of Madison
  • Southern Wisconsin Bluegrass Music Association - Many programs including instructor-led jam class program sponsored by SWBMAI every week, year-long! These sessions are led by local bluegrass players and teachers. The program features different instructors every Tuesday. SWBMAI offers these group lessons to everyone for a modest $5 suggested instructor donation for an hour long (or more) class! If you have always wanted to jam, but held back because you felt "too new" or "too inexperienced", toss those fears away and join in with a group of like minded musicians who are eager to get the full benefit of playing music with others.   • Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series (WSSS) - The Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series was created in 1992, born from a passion for acoustic music and intelligent and entertaining songwriting. The Series is a volunteer organization with all revenue going towards artist fees and operating expenses
    2009 news: After 16 years, the Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series, is moving to The Unitarian Church - North in Mequon, WI.
