Thank you for visiting with Mad Folk, a non-profit
society dedicated to fostering folk music in the Madison
area! We put on a series of concerts, a bi-annual festival,
and run education programs in conjunction with the
University of Wisconsin. We also publish a monthly
newsletter full of information about relevant
music and dance events.
Mad Folk is governed by a Board of
Directors elected by the membership, and is operated entirely on a volunteer basis.
Mad Folk holds an annual meeting each fall, during
which elections are held. Revenues are derived from
memberships and concert ticket sales, plus special
gifts from members and others.
If you are interested in being involved, there are
are many opportunities to volunteer.
