Jack Williams / Ronny Cox

Jack WilliamsJack Williams, a South Carolina-born artist, is celebrated by the contemporary U.S. folk community as a singer/songwriter of national stature and an uncommonly unique guitarist whom Sing Out! Magazine describes as "one of the strongest guitarists in contemporary folk." He continues to tour the U.S. constantly, as he has for the past 50 years, out of the sheer love of music and performing. Williams has added extremely successful tours in Europe to his list of recent performances at festivals, house concerts and major folk venues. A featured performer on the Philadelphia and Kerrville main stages, Jack has also appeared on the Newport, (New Bedford) Summerfest and Boston Folk Festival stages. In addition to his successful solo career, Jack's credits include guitar work with legendary singer/songwriters Mickey Newbury, Harry Nilsson, Tom Paxton, Peter Yarrow, and Steve Gillette, among others.

".... his artistry... is nothing short of amazing. Dazzling picking, expressive voice, unique and interesting songs. He is a showman in the best sense of the word and just wowed our audience. I think they would have followed him anywhere."
- Rich Warren, WFMT "Midnight Special", Chicago IL

"If there is anyone not familiar with Jack's incredible songwriting and prodigious performance skills, my sympathies to you. A Jack Williams show is a slam-dunk win-win-win for all. One of the most enlightened and entertaining performers I've ever encountered."
- Dave Humpreys, Two Way Street Coffeehouse in Downers Grove IL

Ronny CoxMost people know of Ronny's acting career, but not so many know of his life-long love and dedication to music. These days, Ronny spends about half of his time acting and the other half as a singer/songwriter performing at folk festivals, concert venues and small intimate theatres.

"In Hollywood, they say it takes smart actors to play stupid characters, and nice guys to play nasty villains. Cox is the poster-boy for the latter point. He played slithery corporate snakes in "RoboCop" and "Total Recall;" but as a singer-songwriter, he is a study in easygoing amiability and unforced charisma. He charms crowds with self-teasing humor, tart progressive insight, and a lulling Southwestern folk sound. His repertoire is a smart mix of witty ditties, bluesy swing tunes, heart-on-sleeve romances, and real-life anthems ("It's a cry in the night/ It's a whispered prayer/ That gets you from here to there")."
- Scott Alarik, The Boston Globe
